      Krabi

After breakfast, join a full day tour to learn about Krabi and to discover some of its most famous attractions.  First, drive to the most renowned temple of Krabi, the Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sue). Located in a beautiful valley surrounded by 1000 years old vegetation, it is a popular meditation centre in the region. We recommend a climb up the 600-meter-high staircase (1,237 steps) to admire an impressive view of Krabi province from the summit of the temple. There is a large Buddha’s image and footprint. An early lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, go to one of the region’s numerous great hot springs to relax and enjoy the serenity of the surrounding nature. This is one of the last remaining lowland forests in Thailand. From there, walk along well-prepared trails, pass by many cascades and jungle pools, and discover the area’s rich flora and fauna. After this brisk walk, reach the Emerald Crystal Lagoon where you will be able to rest and swim.

      Tour Location

Thailand comprises several distinct geographic regions, partly corresponding to the provincial groups. The north of the country is the mountainous area of the Thai highlands, with the highest point being Doi Inthanon in the Thanon Thong Chai Range at 2,565 metres (8,415 ft) above sea level. The northeast, Isan, consists of the Khorat Plateau, bordered to the east by the Mekong River. The centre of the country is dominated by the predominantly flat Chao Phraya river valley, which runs into the Gulf of Thailand.

      History of the City

Thailand[a] (/ˈtaɪlænd, -lənd/ TY-land, -lənd), historically known as Siam (/saɪˈæm, ˈsaɪæm/) and officially the Kingdom of Thailand, is a country in Southeast Asia, located at the centre of the Indochinese Peninsula, spanning 513,120 square kilometres (198,120 sq mi), with a population of almost 70 million.[11] The country is bordered to the north by Myanmar and Laos, to the east by Laos and Cambodia, to the south by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia, and to the west by the Andaman Sea and the extremity of Myanmar. Thailand also shares maritime borders with Vietnam to the southeast, and Indonesia and India to the southwest. Bangkok is the nation's capital and largest city.
